Through teaching, leadership, research, writing, filmmaking, and public programs, he works to preserve traditional knowledge, promote healthy lifestyles, and inspire future generations in Nepal and around the world.

Representing Nepal at both national and international levels, Bhupendra Gurung has earned numerous medals, titles, and recognitions throughout his martial arts career. His achievements include multiple gold medals in prestigious championships across Nepal, Europe, and the United States, reflecting decades of dedication, discipline, and technical excellence.
LEADERSHIP & SERVICE
Bhupendra Gurung serves as Vice President of the Nepal WUMA Kung Fu Association and President of the Indigenous Sports Association Nepal. Through these leadership positions, he supports the development of Kung Fu, Tai Chi, and Qigong, promotes indigenous sports, mentors athletes and officials, strengthens sports organizations, and works to preserve and promote Nepal’s cultural heritage for future generations.
TEACHING LEGACY
For more than 30 years, Bhupendra Gurung has been committed to the teaching and promotion of Kung Fu, Tai Chi, and Qigong. Through mentoring students, athletes, coaches, referees, and judges, he has contributed to the development of martial arts communities while fostering discipline, leadership, respect, and lifelong learning. His enduring dedication to education continues to inspire individuals to achieve excellence both in practice and in life.
